At Elevate Aviation, we are committed to empowering women to reach their full potential, inspiring leadership, and fostering a community where everyone can thrive. We celebrate the strength and resilience of women who challenge norms, break barriers, and pave the way for others.

Each year, we honour eight incredible women who embody our values. These women are not just leaders; they are beacons of inspiration, showing the world what’s possible when women rise together.

This is more than a recognition—it’s a chance to amplify your story, build your network, and inspire the next generation.

Why Apply or Nominate?

The women who are selected take an unforgettable journey of recognition and celebration. Beginning with a weekend of sharing stories, networking, and building connections with other inspirational women in aviation.
Those selected will travel to Edmonton, AB, twice in 2025.

May 23 & 24, 2025: Headshots and video interview
October 17 & 18, 2025: Inspire Gala

Eligibility

If you, or someone you know, is making a difference in aviation, we want to hear from you! Nominees must:

Identify as a woman
Be employed in the aviation industry
Live in Canada

Remember, there are only eight spots available each year. If you’ve applied or nominated someone before, we encourage you to try again!

Note: Before nominating someone, please ensure they are aware of the nomination and can commit to the requirements.

What We're Looking For

Our selection process is highly competitive and focuses on finding women who:

Embody Elevate Aviation’s core values and goals
Come from diverse backgrounds
Are willing to share their story in a video interview that will be posted on social media and played at the gala
Reflect a range of ages (18+ with no upper age limit)
Have compelling stories of passion, resilience, or overcoming obstacles
Are enthusiastic about getting involved with Elevate Aviation through future events, mentorship, or speaking engagements

Every woman in aviation has a story worth telling. Whether it’s about your career journey, a mentor who inspired you, or challenges you’ve overcome, we want to celebrate your unique path. Help us shine a spotlight on the women who inspire others.
