The Elevate Aviation Cross Country Tour empowers youth to consider a career in aviation through inspirational presentations and behind the scenes tours.

Join us at a city near you between March 14 and 24, 2023, as Elevate Aviation’s teams hit the road to share the exciting world of aviation to youth across Canada.

This year marks our 7th annual Cross Country Tour and we are beyond excited to be hitting the road again for in person tours in 22 cities all across Canada! Each tour day features incredible guest speakers, lunch, and behind the scenes tours of the airport. Best of all, these tours are completely FREE of charge!

Between March 14 and 24, 2023, our teams will be visiting cities from Gander, Newfoundland to Yellowknife, Northwest Territories to Vancouver, British Columbia to share the exciting world of aviation to women and girls across Canada.

In our full day events, participants will spend the morning hearing from women employed in a variety of aviation careers such as pilots, flight attendants, air traffic controllers, Royal Canadian Air Force, airport operations, and aircraft mechanics. Following lunch, groups will get a behind the scenes tour of local aviation facilities including the airport, air traffic control tower, aircraft hangar, and flight school (this varies by location and is dependant on the facilities in your local city).

Elevate Aviation provides a platform for women and underrepresented groups to thrive and succeed through careers in aviation.

From 2015 – 2019 Elevate Aviation travelled from coast to coast to bring in-person behind the scenes tours of the aviation industry to more than 20 cities across Canada each March. In 2020 the Cross Country Tour was cancelled due to public health restrictions and moved to an online platform in 2021 and 2022.
