Yvonne Bohme was the first IFR Air Traffic Controller at the Edmonton Area Control Centre. She recently retired after over 26 years in the job and to honour her as the trailblazer she is, Elevate Aviation created a bursary in her name – the Yvonne Bohme Bursary.

At this event we presented the very first recipient, Rebecca Beylarian, a young woman looking to complete her commercial pilot license, with a $2,000 bursary.
