With my mentor's unwavering support, I embraced my role as a pilot with confidence, knowing that I had someone in my corner who believed in my abilities and potential. I discovered the power of resilience and perseverance, learning to navigate challenges with grace and determination.

Mentorship has had a positive impact in my career. It is something that can help you in any stage of your career and doesn't have to stop. Giving back to the industry and becoming a mentor for other women in ways I didn’t experience is very important to me to help support the next generation of aircraft maintenance engineers. It allows us to learn from others and creates a sense of community.

The mentorship program with Elevate Aviation has been incredibly fulfilling and positive for me as a mentor. It’s been a great way to connect with and support young women interested in aviation, and to share that passion with them. It has helped me further develop my skills as a leader, and to better understand myself in that role. I’m honoured to be able to follow the flight training journey of one of my mentees as she takes-off, and to foster new relationships as I connect with others.

What is mentorship?
